Meet Karae
Karae Shuler (they/she) is a multidisciplinary designer and artist based in Winston-Salem, NC. They specialize in branding, illustration, and print media, finding great joy in blending both analogue and digital practices. Their design work explores identity, childhood, and fantasy, inviting viewers to step outside the boundaries of everyday reality.
“I’ve always been drawn to stories, video games, movies, and books—anything offering a window into other worlds. Life is difficult, and escaping into a different narrative provides comfort from the challenges in our internal and external worlds. This is why my approach invites playfulness: to connect with others who find solace in wonder and curiosity.”
