Meet Karae
Hello, I’m Karae Shuler (they/she), a multidisciplinary designer and artist based in Winston-Salem, NC, currently seeking my first full-time job. I specialize in branding, illustration, and print media, finding joy in blending both analogue and digital practices. I also have a deep love for typography (I took 3 classes on it)!
Not only can I design, but I also possess extensive knowledge in print and production, thanks to my minor in Graphic Communications Management. I make non-headache-inducing, print-ready files with a keen eye for detail. Beyond the technical side, I understand that designing is more than just aesthetics; it’s about communicating clearly, thinking strategically, and understanding human behavior.
Outside of design, you can find me thrifting for eccentric vests or diving into whatever video game I’m currently hyperfixated on.
